DAVE BRADEN
DAVE BRADEN
Founder & President

Dave founded Braden Business Systems in 1989 with the single focus of serving customers’ needs and exceeding their expectations. He built and led the company to where it is today, a leader and award winner in the business technology market in Central Indiana. He manages all of the business’ affairs and has built an effective management team that serves our customers. Dave has over 30+ years of business office technology experience and continues to lead the business by example. He developed the corporate and personal ideals that our company exemplifies rooted in doing the right thing, hard work ethic and always putting our customers first. Dave supports many various charitable organizations including faith based organizations in Indiana. He played baseball as a pitcher/captain and earned a degree in Accounting at Indiana State University during the Larry Bird era of whom he remains a fan of and friend of to this day. Dave has three wonderful children Erik, Sarra and Grant and a beautiful loving wife Terresa and enjoys the occasional round of golf.

ERIK BRADEN, CFA, CPA, MBA

Managing Partner

Erik’s role at Braden is to facilitate profitable growth through driving internal and external initiatives including the execution of complementary acquisitions with the core mission of improving customer experience and value. He previously spent time at the private equity firm, CID Capital, where he executed multiple acquisitions and helped manage key management executives and strategic decisions within these firms to build value. Also, he spent several years at JPMorgan Chase (New York City) in the mergers and acquisitions group closing several large deals. He has also had experience at Credit Suisse (Zurich, Switzerland) & Bear Stearns (Los Angeles) in private wealth management as well as Village Ventures in venture capital. Erik grew up working at Braden including working summers in the warehouse and sales where he created the company’s first online presence. Erik has the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) credentials as well as an MBA and BS in Finance, Accounting and Economics from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Erik loves spending time with his wonderful wife Keity and his dog Pandora.

Executive Vice President

Dave has been at Braden for over 25 years in various leadership roles. He helps lead and manage all aspects of the business with a primary focus on sales, sales administration and marketing. Dave started his career as one of the first team members of Braden Business Systems as a Sales Representative and has helped drive the firm as a leader to where it is today. Dave has over 25+ years of business technology experience and helps himself and his team stay ahead of the technology curve by continual training and education. Dave has an inspiring leadership mentality and leads by example through his hard work ethic and accountability evidenced by the success and respect of his team that he has built and continues to build. Dave earned a degree in Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration from Ball State University and also played pitcher for the baseball team. He enjoys spending time with his wonderful family and wife, is an avid sports fan and loves coaching his children’s various sports teams.

CURT HILL
CURT HILL
Director of Service Operations

Curt has dedicated his career to Braden Business Systems for over 20 years. He currently leads 20+ technical staff members that provide punctual and reliable service to customers. Curt began his career as a Service Technician in 1994 and was quickly promoted to several positions and ultimately in 1997 to his current role as Director of Service. He oversees all of Braden’s customer support, service technicians, inventory and deliveries. He is dedicated to the growth of Braden Business Systems as a thought-leading company, and he places high value on professionalism and dedication to the company and its customers as a whole. He began his studies at Indiana State University and later earned his Bachelor of Science, Electronics and Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis. Along with his degree, he has completed Microsoft MCSE training, multiple office equipment courses, and management training. Curt enjoys time with his wife, two energetic boys, and his golden retriever, Rowdy. During his downtime you will likely find him coaching his sons’ sport teams, sharing jokes with his family and working in the yard.

KEVIN MEEK, CPA
KEVIN MEEK, CPA
Controller

Kevin has been at Braden for over 20 years in various leadership positions. He manages and oversees all accounting and financial related aspects of the business as well as the team members that make up this department. Kevin enjoys helping to problem solve financial tasks and issues that our firm faces internally and with customers and has a true passion for and understanding of accounting. He held previous roles as an accounting manager at several manufacturing firms including Peerless Pump as well as the Controller at Uniset Fastening Systems. Kevin started his career at the accounting firm McGee Rice & Wheat in various accounting roles including Auditing. He graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a degree in Accounting with a finance concentration and has been a CPA since 1984. Kevin likes spending time with family, boating and is an avid sports enthusiast (as long as the team is IU). Kevin has been an active participant and supporter of the Saint Barnabas Catholic Church for over 30 years.
